Barneys is our weekly baby and toddler group for birth to 4 years. We meet each Wednesday from 10am - 11.30am at St Barnabas Church, Lenton Abbey (term time only). We provide space for young children to learn through playing, and also give opportunities for parents and carers to meet up and get to know others.
We have an area for larger play equipment, small world play, messy and craft area, quiet space and a baby safe area. Children can move freely between different areas. We start with a time of free-play for children. Parents and carers can have drinks throughout the session and take time to chat with each other. We tidy up around 10.55am, this is followed by snack time for both children and adults. We finish with a story, song time, and a short prayer. We charge £1 per family per session and put this towards buying and replacing equipment.
You will be asked to complete a registration form for safeguarding purposes and this will be reviewed at least once a year. You will also be asked to sign in when you arrive each week.
